Goodnight friends! Still very dour, a flat feeling to to the weather. An uncannily constant 5°c beneath uncannily featureless pale grey skies, where the spare black silhouettes of gulls coast overhead with scalpel smoothness, flight motionless on cold unseen winds. Air and earth both feeling drier though, soil losing some of its sour fermenting darkness, drifted leaves loose and crumbling again. Spindly shocks of bare branches reach up with the occasional straggling blister of a mistletoe knot.
Gentle recovery day, flagging frequently and generally more fatigued than I would usually expect from a few hours socialising yesterday, despite resting most of the afternoon afterward. My focus at least was a little better later in the day, and I used my lounging time to read a bunch of the comics and zines that have built up since I went to the convention in November.
May we find inspiration and renewed passion today!
