Goodnight friends! Much more uniform today, no real hint of brightness from dawn to night, just a foggy dusk-greyness persisting even in the brief periods between veils of rain. Universal sheen of water on every possible surface, amber lamppost lights dimly reflected in comet trails of pinprick sparks, thin sweet song of robins seeming incongruous n the gloom, made fœtid and swampy by the mildew backwash of drains clogged with leafmulch.
Very encouraged by a robust feeling of recovery. Dizziness and malaise still pretty heavy but no sign of a fever returning, and pain receding down towards the normal range. Even confident enough late in the day to take a walk, though a very brief and staccato one. I think this was only possible due to having the support of my girlfriend able to help me eat and move around over the weekend.
May we find resilience and hope in our lives today!
