Goodnight friends! Yesterday’s brightness all smothered, back under the clammy grey blanket of clouds, spates of misty silent drizzle throughout the day. A thick, acrid tarry smell in the air, likely roadworks somewhere nearby mingling with the mouldering leaves and wet black earth. As the weary sun dipped down clouds thinned a little in the west, streaks of pale blue and lemon yellow beneath the gloomy concrete lid of the sky.
Still recovering, and feeling the little extra expenditures of energy of the monitoring calls and inductions for the medical trial. Less fatigued to start with but exhaustion escalating quicky with each short period of activity. Damp weather aches feverish and lymph nodes feeling a little hard and swollen.
May we embrace curiosity, learning and discovery today!
