Goodnight friends! A mostly greyish patchwork, colder again – around 4°c –and with a very light haze of rain that slowly, stealthily gathered on surfaces as much as it fell. Bare, hooked ash twigs with charcoal hoof-like buds curl and beckon strangely in a fitful chilly breeze. Towards sunset rain trailed off and wind swelled, billowing plumes and swags of cloud rising and splitting, catching peachy light in a pale blue pale blue.
The regular winter weariness and disturbed sleep, a scraping discomfort whenever I shift an elbow ot a knee, but a little better at thinking and focussing today. I was able to do a few small bits of household work, able to enjoy eating without too much of a backlash of exhaustion. Low mood clinging a little, but trying to do a little acceptance work and focus on thinking that the drug trial is hopefully a worthwhile endeavour.
May we find a deeper, more compassionate understanding of our struggles and how to move forward today!
