Goodnight friends! Slow clouding over after a bright blue start, around 4°c during the day and a faint glittering grey sense of dissolving frost on the dewy grass. Long conga lines of pancake-like waxcap mushrooms arc across lawns.
Back to getting mobile and into my regular rhythms. A tentative early return to judo, I didn’t want to disrupt the habit and with my physical recovery still seeming so smooth thanks to the wheelchair and long rest periods I thought it could be viable. I didn’t spar, and kept everything as simple and low key as I could. Really hoping the backlash isn’t too bad and that I’m learning a viable strategy that will help adventures and holidays become a sustsinable part of my life.
May we find a sense of continuity and purpose in our lives today!

Photo of matted, fuzzy stalks of vivid lime green moss, all lined with innumerable minute spiky leaves.
