Goodnight friends! Pale and slightly patchwork grey skies with a faint silvery quality to the shifting clouds, glimpses of gentle golden light, flattening as dusk fell and a diffuse quiet rain begin to fall. More branches are crooked and bare, the early smoky yellow electic glow of lampposts caught in thin curled talons. Guy fawkes fireworks were muffled and hidden in the damp murk.
Rest and recovery mainly, really lethargic and a little achey despite having assumed I did a good job going slow at judo – maybe some of this is just more seasonal adjustment etc. Over to my girlfriend’s place for dinner tonight, her dog was agitated by the fireworks and needed extra fussing to keep things calm.
May we find, and share, kindness and fellowship today!
