Goodnight friends! Our sunny spell ended, pale grey watered silk skies reasserting themselves with speckly interludes of light rain. Clumpy outposts of slime moulds in the grass, some fresh cottage cheese-like blobs, others flattened blackish mats. Some lindens all of a sudden almost bare, guttering yellow candles, with a constant slow tumble of dim shadows passing across my wall as the last few leaves drift downward.

I think if today’s online blood pressure assessment results turn out well I’m fully through the interview phase and cleared for this medical trial, which will begin in late November. Lingering bleariness, low pressure and the slight extra cognitive buzz of knowing I had an appointment to be ready for lead to a fairly lethargic, hazy day, long stretches of memory dissolved into grey fuzz.

May we open ourselves to new experiences and new ideas today!
