Goodnight friends! A scoured, bright and breezy start, leaf-speckled lawns leoparded with wavering spots of sunlight. As the wind died down after midday clouds quickly gathered, tall and roiling, and flashing sunbeams became more fleeting. Some of the early crop of mushrooms already looking split and fragile after a few dry days. Squirrels seeming ever more frenetic, the scratch and scrabble of little feet up above, grey zigzag blurs of motion as the bounce up into the trees.

Sharp spikes of pain still coming on in the night, but slept maybe a little better, though not long enough to feel much refreshed or fully banish a mild sense of vertigo that continued off and on through most of the day. Recovered fairly well from my dinner outing though, well enough to attempt judo, though keeping things very slow and cautious.

May we find tenderness and thoughtful communication today!
