Goodnight friends! Flickering quick change weather shepherded along by a cool mineral-scented wind, a roiling wall of grey and my brow sunwarmed one moment, speckled with drizzle beneath a sky of long, wavering threadbare plumes the next. A few red admirals, one of our latest-flying butterflies, trying to sun themselves between gusts.

Didn’t sleep too well with cold and fitful rain overnight, so had a long slow bleary morning, but a slow leisurely walk and stretches in the afternoon – half on the grass, and half indoors after a shower drove me away. Small bits of writing and drawing, but focus very patchy.

May we allow ourselves moments of idle stillness, wandering thoughts and relaxation today!
