Goodnight friends! Warmer, back up to 21° after dipping down towards 15°c, and the character of the sky and rain changed along with it. Foxes wedding weather, sparse and breathily pattering silvery droplets fell from bands of thick iron-dark cloud that rolled over and past, lit up by sunbeams near at hand. The combination of rain and heat perfumed the air thickly with the sour scent of silage being made. Long luxuriously indigo shadows stretched out across grass flecked gold with linden leaves.

Accepting that todsy was always going to be a bit of a wash for feeling effective or energetic at all. Foggy cognitive debt from the medical screening interview, and the swollen grinding feeling of the damp sapping my strength. At least the warm glistering atmosphere lent a timeless holidayish end-of-summers-past feeling, a kind of sensation buried in the marrow of childhood, that made an idle day feel strangely appropriate.

May we find delight in old passions reignited today!
