Goodnight friends! Slowly sinking down into the lower 20s, the speckles and loose-woven strands of cloud coming together into low banks of furrowed grey that drop a soft, silent mist of a drizzle as they slide by overhead. Half-parched mossy lawns drink greedily, a deeper green beneath the slippery crackling of leaves and a spongy damp feeling underfoot.
An ungainly-feeling and exhausting return to judo, body somewhat clunky and unresponsive, but my stamina at least seems much improved for the restful week off. Frustrating how easily my sleep is slipping back into my typical, more disreputable mode.
May we find a sense of tranquility and acceptance in our lives today!
