Goodnight friends! A milky overcast sky for most of the day, soft, even light sharpened from time to time by a tremulous breeze that carved open tranches of blue and made the poplars hiss and rattle. Multiplying yew arils glow like dim embers beneath the dark eves of the trees. Pale stars of half-open field bindweed trumpets in grass stiff and straggly with meadow horsetails.

Definitely feeling better mentally and physically, had an easier time sleeping and felt less concussed to start, more energetic and mobile. Pacing fairly carefully, able to find time and energy for stretches, some drawing, and TTRPG group in the evening.

May we release ourselves from patterns and habits that no longer nurture or support us today!

Image ID: Photo of the end of a long fallen feather, probably a magpie’s tail feather, with an incredible dark oily iridescence of gold, violet, blue and green playing across the interlocking barbs.

Photo of lawson’s cypress twigs bearing clusters of small, round seed cones made up of interlocking scales that give the impression of tiny turtle carapaces, edged in yellow and dark slate blue in the centres.
