Goodnight friends! A little cooler but heavier feel to the air too, a little more sulty with long sweeps of high, speckled cloud. Hydrangeas and firy crocosmias coming into flower, the scent of honeysuckle and buddleja soporifically sweet. The insistent rough peeping of immature magpies, almost full size but gawky, more angular, old enough to explore but not to stop turning gaped beaks towards their parents, hopeful to be fed. Mown back grass is scrubby, prickly yellow stubble, while in the remaining area of meadow timothy-grass and orchard grass and oatgrasses sigh and sway.

A lot of the day was trying to pierce through the deep, hazy fog of very poor sleep. Energy a little tentative and wobbly, but with encouraging peaks.Managed to get myself together and go to judo in a cautious, slow midset. Felt like I was scrawling through tar towards the end of the very sweaty evening.

May we find rest and relief from pain today!
