Goodnight friends! A heady, heavy stuffy 25°c, a fickle and restless wind hauling and tearing at thick banks of pale grey cloud, alternately gusting cool and damp, dry and hot. Ragworts coming into full flower, reckless splashes of yellow, grass speckled with white and purple clovers. A few passages of evening drizzle, noiseless and not enough to fully lift the blanket of humidity.
Back into post-exertion recovery mode, a long, dragging floaty haze of a morning. A few twangs and pinches of muscle but general physical exhaustion is the main feature. A quiet dinner date evening with my girlfriend.
