Goodnight friends! More moderate weather, about 19°c, sky deep cerulean blue with dense, shifting white clouds and a brooding hint of prickly low pressure. Early buddleja flowers already shrivelled a little in the heat, yesterday’s heavy rain already vanished away with no sign at all of even damp earth or droplets trapped in the long grass. Lemonbalm and other feral mints in bloom, narrow henbit-like trumpets on star-shaped calyxes.

Body aching heavily, I don’t think yesterday’s walk was enough to cause much stain, so lily from the flip-flopping change in weather and the restless sleep it lead to. Nothing stuck very well, thought or action, drifting and uncomfortable, though we managed an abridged TTRPG group session for the first time in a while.

May we find a deepened sense of community and connection today!
