Goodnight friends! A few scrappy bright patches, but the sky mostly dominated by heavy, bloated slate-coloured clouds. Drooping green spikes of sycamore-maple flowers. Thick, half-rich half-sickly sweetness of hawthorn blossoms giving way to the tarry, earth and mineral sour scent of petrichor as rain started up in the evening, fairly thin bouts of drizzle that has continued fitfully into the night.
Definitely still a bit fatigued, but feeling like everything is balancing out again for now. Able to take small bites at a few different things, little bits of art and household tasks, and a decently productive session at judo, too. Setting an intention to take more purposeful rest over the rest of this week.
May we allow ourselves to fail and learn and grow with good grace and self-compassion today!
