Goodnight friends! Again curiously cool for such a clear and brilliant day – but still warm enough, and full with swelling vitality. Coral pink goblet blossoms of quince bushes, white umbels of wayfaring-tree, the coiling arcs of honeysuckle tendrils. Brown and yellow speckled wood butterflies spiralled and jousted around each other.

A pretty fun diversion from the regular Monday. My girlfriend mentioned she was feeling a little stressed and burned out and wasn’t sure what to do with a day she’d taken off work to recover. On my spontaneous suggestion we went out to a small local spa. We hung out most of the day, pottering back and forth between steam rooms and saunas and hot tubs. All the steam and water made it a great enforced mini-tech detox, as well as just some time to empty our heads generally.

May we find ways to break patterns of thoughts and action that no longer serve us today, and build better habits for tomorrow!
