Good afternoon friends! Sky of four quarters today – iron grey to north, dazzling diamond of low sun reluctantly rising from the east, icy blue southward and subdued banks of swirling white in the west. Fungal empires surging everywhere, trunks studded from base to branch with jelly ears, slime moulds at rest like clots of cottage cheese, congregations of dissolving tarry inkcaps clustered around roots.
Wearied by cold but enlivened a little by stirring freshness in the air.
May we grow and heal today!
