Goodnight friends! Another in the flickering succession of changeable days, clear blue skies threaded with insubstantial, unravelling clouds as if yesterday had never happened. Around 14°c and feeling very mild, lifting melodies among budding oak twigs, the flash of white rabbit tails vanishing into the undergrowth.

Dizziness still settling down bit by bit, and some standard twanging of strained muscles, but otherwise a mild and easy recovery day. After a slow and steady afternoon of not much at all, my girlfriend and I took advantage of the slowly lengthening evenings to take a gentle walk in the park and enjoy a leisurely cooking date.

May we take time to acknowledge and celebrate those who support and nourish us today!

Photo of lax, drooping spikes of red-flowering currant coming into bloom, clusters of hanging magenta teardrop buds opening layer by layer into bright pink cinquefoils with white tubular centres.
