Goodnight friends! A soft, twilit-grey day today, a cool blustery breeze sweeping cloud after darkening cloud across the sky. It also brought that smooth, sour-sweet chlorophyll-green taste of growing things, filling my mouth up with spring on every breath. Hungry caterpillar holes starting to appear on alkanet leaves. Rattling of scattered raindrops on my windows after dark, desutlory trilling peeps of birdsong continuing deep into the night too.
Drained by the swell of damp and the sinking temperatures. Hung out on the h-i social for a bit, it was great to have a specific space to fill with my meagre drawing energy. A few scraps of writing in the evening too.
May we find a renewed sense of passion and purpose today!
