Goodnight friends! 18°c, everything summery and light but feeling almost slightly cooler. Air stirring, high clouds scraped thin by a gentle wet-tasting breeze. Alkanet flowers multiplying, as vivid blue as fragments stolen from the sky. Forecast agreeing with the feel of the breeze, this brief false summer is likely coming to an end soon, with overcast rainy skies and temperatures back in the single digits predicted by Tuesday. For now magpies flirt and chatter and the swelling four-fifths moon shines in the afternoon sky.

Broader swathe of rawness in my throat and a continuing filmy sense of extra malaise and soreness, sniffles and dry coughs. All mild so far, but very unclear where it’s headed. Waiting it out and trying to be gentle.

May we find rest and replenishment today!
