Goodnight friends! More consistent, thinner whispery rain from a split and mottled white-grey sky, clouds whipping past and a warm, damp wind. Yews and birches trembling, narrow poplar crowns making that familiar bowstave bend under the power of the bluster, buffeting but without the sawblade force of cold. Lomg, cumpled-looking, delicately velvety leaves of green alkanet exploding into life now, often freckled with little bright white spots.

Started fairly well, feeling fairly refreshed, but the damp began to sap my energy faster after I went outside, my hopes for a more stable and mobile day draining away as pain got a grinding grip on my joints. A few little household bits taken care of, but mostly slow going.

May we listen to each other with openness, care, curiosity and respect today!
