Goodnight friends! Again a thickening sky hour by hour until off-white overcast skies of early afternoon were lidded by a sweeping band of rain from iron grey clouds. Being caught in a shower, the kind that follows a long smooth crescendo from hissing whisper to hoofbeat rumble feels so different when the temperature is all of a sudden nearer to 14°c than 4°c. There’s no chill sliding down the back of my neck and into my bones, the bouncing heads of snowdrops and crocuses seem sprightly rather than panicked to my eye.
A little fatigued and with a few general lingering aches, I let things drift by again at a gentle pace. Moving my body with care and deliberation, trying to re-commit to my stretching routine that became more sporadic and lax over the past few wintery months.
May we find a deeper sense of purpose and clarity in our goals and ambitions today!
