Goodnight friends! The low grey bloated skies of the past week or so have mostly been pretty reticent during daylight hours, with only very thin hazy drizzle or brief showers. Today was apparently the day for drumming, puddling, hour on hour hiss of rain. Not especially powerful but persistent, soaking pavements a few shades darker with an oily magpie sheen. Leaves drip and hang heavy, celandine buds droop and shake, punch-drunk.

Waves of really heavy pain and accompanying clenched exhaustion. A really winded feeling and a semi-acknowledged panicky buzz welling up from time to time, especially when I was locked immobile and lead-heavy. Just got to maintain focus and let it pass, see what tomorrow brings.

May we find and nurture communities of care, honesty and support today!
