Goodnight friends! Smooth, clear, nearly empty slate blue skies, treetops brushed with thick slow amber light. Nearly 10°c, the churchyard full of the chatter and scramble of life. Clattering magpie arguments, blackbirds rummaging through drifted leaves, coiled bounding of furtive squirrels, the soil bubbling with dark towers of worm casts.
Feels a similar day for me as yesterday, able to start earlier but coming gradually unwound and falling into a gentle state of half-collapse by mid afternoon. Less pain overall, but body dragging and feeling a little dislocated, as if operating on a slight delay.
May we open ourselves to opportunities for connection, understanding a growth today!
