Goodnight friends! Perhaps close to the best that can be expected from the weather this time of year. It rained overnight again, in a steady, dreary muttering way, and by morning the sky was pale blue and broad and cleared of the thick sensation of damp. Sturdy outcroppings and peninsulas of cumulus rolled by, washed over by the citric light of a long sunset. Brassy beech hedges gleam, yellow oak leaves glow against the murky green of squat holly stands. Yesterday’s hints of warmth remained, though with highs of 13°c.
A similar type of day, feeling like I’m filling in the corners and margins, doing little tasks to keep things ticking along. More lethargic though, since hanging out on Saturday did sap my stamina a bit. My neck is starting to feel better, though still with a lot of tightness and pain at the limits of motion.
May we find renewed excitement and curiosity about the world aroud us today!
