Goodnight friends! Dour still, and a heavier feeling of both cold and damp. The edge of mist very persistent along with the rich, sharp comingling scents of bonfire and decay, as if a haze of smoke suffused the sky. Grass thickly silver-speckled by lingering dew that looked like frost in the weak colourless afternoon light. Trees cast wide nets of bare twigs into empty grey air.
A bit more energy and ease in moving and thinking – simple problems and ideas not slithering away from my brain so readily. A few household tasks taken care of, amd feeling far better for regaining some agency. Sleep not deep or restful but at least a few more hours of it.
May we look closely, think carefully and find deeper understanding of each other and the world around us today!
