Goodnight friends! Dense grey air persists, a kind of soupy fog-like consistency to the dim flat half-light that makes short daylight hour slip by without time or texture. Ever-more mushrooms plotting arcs, loops, rings, strange winding footpaths. Bared branches reveal all their sinewy twists and knots.

Slow and bleary still, though not quite as rough as yesterday, body feeling weak and my eyes pulsing with blunt fatigue. Sleep fragmented and shallow as my body reacts to the phantom aches caused by cold and damp. Managed to haul myself up and at least take a walk, but much more complex stuff felt beyond me for most of the day.

May we find mutual care and support in our lives today!
