Goodnight friends! Return of heavy, dimensionless concrete grey skies. Their gloomy pall dominated the later afternoon and evening, laying down vague curtains of hazy, silent pinprick rain. Portions of the morning and brief interludes after lunch flashed with fragments of gold-limned blue, narrow sunbeams punching holes through nets of skinny bare branches. A few days of sun beckoned out reticent straggling flowers, a few haggard crocuses and trailing bellflowers struggling along.
Feeling more confident and cleared out from this lingering cold again, if this trajectory continues I think I’ll be ready to go back to judo tomorrow. Refreshingly clear thoughts, and moving stably and without unexpected pain.
May we find ourselves reconnected to the world around us, renewed and inspired in our reflective and creative practises today!
