Goodnight friends! A clear chilly morning matured into a dazzlingly azure midday and afternoon, about 14°c with hot white sunlight beating down. Far up in the dizzy blue birds of prey with broad oblong white-barred wings – maybe red kites – waltzed lazily on the thermals in slow wide spirals, only beating up and away when mobbing crows tumbled around them. Woodlands all gorgeous patchwork quilts, russet and gold chequered with rich dark green patches of holly and Scots pine. Evening greyed rapidly as light dimmed, and faint speckles of rain brought on a murky evening.
A walk in the park with my girlfriend, maybe my longest since before I fell under this mild cold, left me a little dazed and breathless, but still feeling in general a little better than I have all week. Resting quietly for a lot of the day afterwards, able to focus a little more clearly though and do some light stretching.
May we work to uplift and support each other today!

Photo of a bare wild apple tree against a brilliant blue sky, a dense thickety mass of tangled branches, a few pinpoint of fruits hang among its twigs, but mostly the yellow-green apples lie in a neat ring around its trunk.
