Goodnight friends! A fine, simmering blue day to end camp on, the kind of morning where the flawless blue arcing overhead is endless, deep and velvety dark enough to look almost violet. Crows needling and nipping at buzzards, the black uncanny flicker-strobe of a beautiful demoiselle.
I got my first real sunburn in many years over the weekend, fortunately pretty mild. Home and in my own bed now, feeling very weak and drowsy and still more-or-less in a spin. I’m not the best at unspooling, entangling and processing experiences and emotion so I expect it will be a little while before I know what I experienced and learned there.
May we find a gradual, inevitable process of growth and change inside ourselves today!
