Goodnight friends! Getting warmer again, hovering just below 20°c through the middle of the day. Overcast and swirling skies to start and a sticky humidity that never quite lifted, though at least the clouds parted into scattered plumes and unravelling rags as the afternoon wore on. Ominous forecasts for tomorrow and a foreboding, tingly feeling in the air.
Adventuring day two, we’re attending the convention proper now, and I think my girlfriend and I are getting better and better at sharing signals about fluctuating needs and energy levels, pacing things out hour by hours and taking care of ourselves and each other. Doing a bit less, but feeling quite a bit better at the end of the day. I even found the space and energy for a gentle swim. Unfortunately we’re virtually the only folks we’ve seen masking in the crowded indoor areas.
