Goodnight friends! A much cooler and gloomier start, the sky dimly mottled grey, the air clammy. Fortunately it brightened up considerably after a sweet grassy breeze rose in the early afternoon, clouds parting and shifting and writhing their shadows like restless serpents across the grass. First rumpled, dishevelled flowers of wood avens and blackberries, tiny pink shining crane’s-bill flowers now half lost among their reddening foliage.
Slowed down by another poor night of sleep, but feeling more cognitively alert and present at least, even if my stamina for anything physical was still feeling a bit limited. Hoping this gentle upward trend continues for exercise tomorrow and summer adventures over this weekend and next.
May we find ways to deepen our communication and co-operation with those we value today!
