Goodnight friends! Just as warm topping out at about 23°c, though with thicker, slowly sweeping cloud cover that kept it from feeling quite so blazing. Rippling green-gold brindled shadows caress the grass below the linden trees, washed-out bluebells turning papery and swelling into neat little hard green artichoke seedpods. Still expanses of floating blue motes thanks to spreading cascades of speedwells and dreamily swaying forget-me-nots, now towered over by ox eye daisies, flashing yellow and white mirrors for the sun.
Slow, burning fatigue and inchoate bodily pain heavy on me today, probably in part a hangover from an active start to this week. A little drawing and a slow careful walk, so the day felt a nice balance of fullness and rest. No luck for me seeing anything resembling an aurora, the night washed to a flat sepia grey by the urban light spill.
May we find peaceful and restoring rest today!
