Goodnight friends! Growing a little warmer day by day, 19°c and slightly humid, slow checkerboard sweep of sky. Dense tumbledown cairns of cumulus alternated with deep azure expanses scored by tiny cottonbud white tufts and diffusing contrails. Extravagant yellow waterfalls of laburnum flowers join the pink and white spikes of horse chestnuts lining roads with confetti splashes of colour in the trees. The grass is full of sparks too, bright purple winged flowers of common vetch and blue specks of speedwells.
Judo starting to become a pretty sweaty experience as evenings get warm. Wasn’t feeling very strong after my little woods adventure yesterday, but the session structure was thankfully low key with easy break opportunities so I was able to keep a fairly steady pace and not get myself too frustrated or exhausted.
May we find renewed confidence in our ability to endure and overcome the difficulties ahead of us today!
