Goodnight friends! Sky opening up, a deep and mesmerising blue almost violet in its intensity against stark white cumulus tumbling on the wind. Rain-beaded in shady nooks but dry. Back up into double digits, the celandines that all closed against the rain glint their golden mirror petals again. Pale beads of clenched buds strung on the tips of hawthorn twigs, darting blackbirds skim between tree and hedge.
Another date night thanks to the long easter weekend, more cooking and laughing, feeling very lucky to be spending so much time with my girlfriend this week.
