Good afternoon friends! Sky huge and cold, blown mostly clear by great roaring drumrolls of wind that rattled in my ears and set dry yellow reeds to frantic whispering. Green gradually vanishing from the woods except for the stubborn holdouts of undergrowth ane velvety moss. Birds on the reservoir are restive, while the thin, piercing penny whistle song of robins dominates among grey branches.

Refreshed by sun and sharpness in the air, feeling more together and effective. Got some exercise as well as household stuff done.

May we find and savour moments of unexpected delight today!
