Goodnight friends! Another jostling, unpredictable undecided day, half-blue polished pearly skies alternated with brooding cloudscapes of low-hanging concrete grey. Inconstant rain whispered or clattered. Yellow-fringed brushy groundsel buds and forget-me-nots crowding around alage-stained old stone walls. Peeping calls of goldfinches, far up on treetop lookouts but identifiable by their dark brows and abrupt, triangular plier-like beaks.
Still fairly worn-out feeling in general, judo on Tuesday and cooking adventures yesterday both drained my not-quite recovered batteries a bit. I did my best to slow down, set my intention on rest and held off on doing any little household jobs, walked and watched TV and read.
May we find rest and healing today!
