Goodnight friends! Returning to overcast weather, a blanched sky of solid featureless off white cloud with lower drifting rags of sooty grey. Light showers, thin and silent and diffuse, took up the afternoon and evening. Blue firefly sparks of budding squill flowers, successors to the slowly collapsing violet and yellow and white of crocuses, float above wet grass frothy with brown wormcasts.
Mood more calm and even. While physically things don’t feel that much better, there’s enough of a change at least to help me feel like I’m not just stuck in a loop. Small household tasks, a sense of stabilisation and organisation that’s very reassuring in the face of lacking a strong feeling of being able to make progress or stick fully to established routines.
