Goodnight friends! Razor-strop cold again, bright and hard and scraping. Wavering around 0°c, pointilist speckles of konpeito frost pale on the moss and tussocky grass again, barred by long straight sunset shadows. Clouds gathering in the west come evening, softening the sharp fingernail moon.
Nerves felt a little wracked about returning to judo after struggling for a while to regain confidence in my basic stamina post-covid, but during the session at least I felt. Tomorrow might be a little rough though.
May we recognise and celebrate the challenges we’ve overcome to be here today, with gratitude for the people and communities that supported us!
