Goodnight friends! A fresh and unsettled wind shifting quarter to quarter, drawing sheets of soupy grey across and away, shedding murmurs of drizzle as they went. In between there were ghostly vertebrae, unspooling peach-tinted threads of translucent cloud. Wiring tangles of clinging vetch stems still grapple through the wild grass, and tiny, tight-clenched cherry red buds form in preparation for spring.
Still coughing a bunch and still tiring more quickly than I’d like, but for the first time since I started coming down with this latest virus I managed the full circuit of my regular daily walk. It took a lot out of me the rest of the day, but thankfully my girlfriend was able to keep me company for a restful evening.
May we find the warmth of companionship and fellow-feeling in our lives today!
