Goodnight friends! A rippling pearlescent sky, palely blue shading into lilac and grey, parting into wispy tendrils then swallowed by dense low-hanging rain clouds that tapped and sizzled down before fading away.
Very weary, bleary day after a night full of startled night sweat awakenings, unsure of who or where I was. Unluckily I’ve always struggled to take naps, so it’s hard to disentangle symptoms from effects of broader fatigue. The sore throat and stuffed sinuses seem to abate and redouble, no clear feeling of reaching a crisis or a resolution so far. My girlfriend came over to keep me company and to set things back in order. I’m very grateful but also feeling a bit guilty in case of infecting her.
