Good afternoon friends! Dreary out again – a perpetual pre-dawn grey, drained of colour without the promise of change or relief, and frequent scattered bursts of thin, lifeless cold rain. Robins ever bolder and brighter, vivid sparks alert and buoyant on bare branches just out of arm’s reach. Tufted ducks are back too, seemingly to overwinter on the reservoir, small golden eyes gleaming in velvet-black heads.

Aches and pains seemingly everywhere, time drifting away from me. Maybe as the wet and dark draws in one rest day isn’t enough any more.

May we listen, reflect and learn today!
