Goodnight friends! A long day of soggy colourless skies and thin dismal rain, silent except where a sudden cutting breeze send out a brief vicious diagonal spray. The air is thick and sour with a coffee scent of wet earth and turned leaves, ground squelching and slipping a little underfoot.
Felt pretty hapless much of today and only sporadically really awake, a heavy, bruisy wet sensation of aching cold throughout my body as if I had soaked up rainwater in my sleep.
