Goodnight friends! A colourless smeared sky to start, but thin clouds were quickly torn and scattered by the constant cool-edged breezes of autumn, and we had the warmest, clearest and driest feeling day in a while. Black and scarlet flashes of Ted admirals flitting between sun-warmed gravestones, bulwarks of yew brightly polka dotted with dusty rose coloured arils.
My mood is improving bit by bit, at least in part as my pain evens out somewhat. Several times today though I felt an unpleasantly familiar overwhelming sensation of deflating, leaking, loss, of my stamina vanishing even more quickly than usual. It makes it even harder to pace myself properly, which contributes to unmooring, destabilising effects.
May we find a sense of purpose and continuity in our lives today!
