Goodnight friends! Wet and clammy, a dour and heavy day. A little warmer than recently, around 18°c at midday, but the pale gloomy light and thin rain contrived to make it feel a little chilly despite the slight unseasonal sweat the humid atmosphere brought on.
A big outing day with my girlfriend, a stately home visit like the few we did last autumn. Felt less energetic and weakened faster than last year I think, worse weather and generally more active day-to-day now than I was then. We still managed to see a lot of beautiful things –and I think saw them differently now for returning to familiar sights together after having spent a lot more time with each other.
May we focus our attention and energy on what we can change for the better today!
