Goodnight friends! A murky dust-grey sky, flat and dank, feeling colder than it was. A loose evening rainfall of sparse heavy drops leavened the tense atmosphere a little. Meeting foxes almost daily on our shared trails through the tall grass in the graveyard, very active and fearless, nipping at the heavy silver heads of wild barley. Few wildflowers left now except hawkbits and pink flecks of herb-robert, the pink and red hues of berries, orange and yellow leaves providing sparks of colour instead.
Very heavy, painful feeling of bodily malaise today, no creative drive and a deep internal seems like the Autumn blues of damp cold days may be setting in – I rarely feel as well in the colder months.
May we find a renewed sense of excitement and awe at the world and people around us today!
