Good afternoon friends! Air stilled and clouds starting to gather and thicken today after a succession of vast, cold open skies. Enough sharp cool morning light still to kindle all the dazzling neon colours left in oak and beech leaves. More mushrooms sprouting up every day in all their lethal, uncanny fairy-story shapes.

Already feeling the gathering potential of rain as a lethargy and ache deep in my bones – recognising afresh how much I’ve enjoyed walking in the morning sun these past few days.

May we find & nurture compassion for ourselves and each other today!
