Goodnight friends! Cool and bright, sky washed half clear and full of sunlight, the other piercing side of early autumn. Crystal-speckled grass thick with the dank mouldering smell of fungus. Sycamore canopies brittle and cigarette-burned by tar spot, hissing and rattling with the leaping, squabbling passage of busy squirrels.
Hwavy creaking fatigue, long passages of dazed half-coherent rest needed. Keeping things ticking over – drawing a little, stretching, walking, eating – but feels like just this much is pushing up against my limits for now.
May we find a renewed sense of focus and purpose in our lives today!
