Goodnight friends! Sky a tissue-thin sheet skeined with cloud and scorched pastel pale by a broad blare of sunlight. Just as hot as yesterday but becoming more humid, feeling the slow bubbling tremor that might find full expression as a thunderstorm in the next week. Last lonely grasshoppers chirrup in the long grass, studded with the floating white starbursts of sow-thistle seedheads.
Still suffused by this ambiguous, shapeless ache and fatigue, body and thoughts both dragging heavily. Hopefully at least my sleep achedule is starting to regularise, harder to stay awake the less I can engage with any distraction.
May we find people and places that support the full range of ourselves and our expression today!
